Directions for nail application

Directions for application

  1. Starting with clean, polish free, gel free acrylic free nails, gently push back your cuticles against the nail fold with the orange stick. If the press-on is on the actual nail it will last longer.
  2. Lightly buff the shine from your natural nail with the buffer or the small nail file included in your nail kit. There should be no shine on your natural nail. Please do not over file your natural nail! We want to keep our natural nails as healthy as we can.
  3. Clean the dust from the nails thoroughly with an alcohol wipe or nail cleaning solution. Dust and oils will prohibit the glue from working properly.
  4. Match a nail tip to each of your nails, matching the width. The edges of the tip should match with the sidewalls of your natural nail.
  5. Dab a small but effective amount of glue to the inside well of the nail. Enough to cover your nail bed when you press the nail down and the glue spreads. Please make sure your nail is straight on your finger nail before setting your nail. Once you have lineup your nail press it down and hold it for 5 to 10 seconds.
  6. **Nail Tabs** If you opt to use the nail tab sticky tape, I use them as follows. Follow the steps 1-4 above. Then, I place one sticky tab on each press on nail, and I also place one on my actual nail. This is double adhesion, and they tend to last a bit longer. However, everyone has their own way of using the sticky tabs.
  7. The general way of using them is (after following steps 1-4), to place one sticky tab on your natural nail and adhere the press on to your natural nail and you're good to go.
